Today is a special day where we celebrate our teachers. A teacher may not necessarily mean the ones that taught us in school but taught something valuable in one way or another.
Actor Shagun Pandey who plays the role of Meet in Zee TV's latest fiction offering - Meet reveals, "I feel teachers play a very crucial role in everyone's life. While we have our parents who look after us at home, the guiding forces outside our house are our teachers, who mould us to adapt to the different phases that we see in our lives. I must say that I was very fortunate that my school teachers guided me well and I am what I am because of them. I remember, when I was in school, I was told to be a teacher on Teacher's Day once and I had to fill in their precious position and enact the way they talks and tell everyone what I had learnt from them.
He added, "I had taken up the role of our PT teacher and he had a unique way of whistling while giving us commands on the school ground. Not only did I enact that, but also made everyone do some exercises that he used to teach us. He also enjoyed it and appreciated me at the end of the day, it was truly a proud and special moment for me. Even today, I am in touch with all my school teachers and I would like to take this opportunity to bow down to them and thank them for showing me the correct path and taking care of me during my school days. I hope I can make them proud one day."
We wish a Happy Teacher's Day to all the teachers out there.
