Actress Meera Deosthale feels that a counselling class should be inculcated at schools so that the kids don't carry their childhood baggages into the future.

Actress Meera Deosthale has enthralled us with her performance in shows like Udaan, Vidya amongst others. The Actress got into a conversation with a leading daily where she spoke about mental health and how social media plays a very big role in our life and affects one's mental health.
Speaking to the Times of India, Meera shared that people take comments on internet very seriously and if the comment is bad then it affects a person's mental health. She also added that it feels worse when they start writing personal comments and some people stoop really low by writing cheap and vulgar stuff. The Actress also added that it's very easy to show that you care when someone has already left and she wishes that the people had shown the same concern and respect when the person was struggling.
Talking about the industry, the Actress stated that as glamorous as it looks from the outside, it's a dark place to be in especially if you don't have the right set of friends or a support system. The Actress believes that mental health is a very important issue but she feels that it is not addressed properly. Meera also feels that a counselling class should be inculcated at schools so that the kids don't carry their childhood baggages into the future.
