Matka King: Vijay Varma leads this gambler drama series led by director Nagraj Manjule

After just having had a release in the form of Murder Mubarak on Netflix, the actor now has an announcement happening on Amazon Prime Video's upcoming project, as a part of their upcoming slate, Matlab King.

In this fictional tale set in 1960s Mumbai, an enterprising cotton trader who craves legitimacy and respect starts a new gambling game dubbed ‘Matka’, which takes the city by storm and democratizes a terrain previously reserved for the rich and elite.

The series is produced under the production company, Roy Kapur Films, headed by Siddharth Roy Kapur. Also having Nagaraj Manjule, Gargi Kulkarni, Ashish Aryan, and Ashwini Sidwani while being directed by Nagraj Manjule, written by bhay Koranne and Nagraj Manjule.
