Mandira Bedi’s first post after husband Raj Kaushal’s demise is heartbreaking

Actress Mandira Bedi’s world turned upside down when her husband and filmmaker Raj Kaushal passed away after suffering a sudden heart attack. 

Raj breathed his last on June 30 due to a cardiac arrest. He was 49 and has two kids Tara and Vir with Mandira Bedi.

Heartbroken with the big loss, Mandira has made her first Instagram post after her husband Raj Kaushal’s demise. The actress took to Instagram to share a bunch of throwback pictures that feature the couple enjoying some quality time together.

Sharing the pictures, Mandira captioned the post with a heartbreak emoji. Have a look:

Her industry friends and colleagues have also taken to the comments section to send in their heartfelt messages as they stand by the actress in these tough times.

Mandira has also deleted her Instagram profile picture and replaced it with a black screen.

Raj Kaushal’s untimely demise came as a big shock to one and all as he was recently spotted having a get together party with his close friends including the likes of Ashish Chaudhary, Zaheer Khan, Sagarika Ghatge, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, and his wife Mandira Bedi. 

Mandir Bedi smashed stereotypes as she carried out the last rites of her late husband. She performed the rituals at Raj Kaushal’s funeral and was seen carrying the bier, a ceremony that is traditionally performed by men in India. While some had praised the actress for breaking stereotypes, a section of netizens had also thrown flak at her and even trolled her for her outfit at the funeral.

Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had tied the knot in 1999. They have two children, Tara and Vir. The couple adopted Tara in 2020.
