Mallhar who had a fall when young suffers from an incurable ailment even today...

Mallar Karmakar, the dynamic performer who won the hearts of the judges in Star Plus’ Voice of India has a medical problem, owing to a fall he had when he was a child.

Diagnosed to have suffered from a nerve hemorrhage then, Mallhar underwent treatment for 12 years in Kolkata only to discover that his ailment is incurable. Till date he suffers from nausea, dizziness and acute headache.

However, his dedication for music has kept him going. It is heard that there have been times when he performed even when he was reeling in pain. His devotion to music and his performances in VOI have won him accolades both from the judges as well as audience.

The judges were so overwhelmed that once after his performance, Ismail Darbar actually went on to the stage and blessed the talented singer and gifted him Rs. 1000/- as a gesture.

We pray for Mallar’s good health!!

Really feel for him, but glad god blessed him with his ability to sing and made him a fine human being. Whatever happens in SVOI, he will get offers, wish him all the best and he gets the success he deserves
