Mahesh Babu, a renowned Telugu actor, recently took to Twitter to share a poster from his upcoming film, tentatively titled SSMB28. The actor dedicated the poster release to his late father, Krishna, on the occasion of Krishna's birthday. The poster showcases Mahesh Babu in a mass avatar, exuding an intense look as he prepares for a fight. 

Additionally, the actor announced that the film's title and first look teaser would be unveiled on the same day, which coincides with the first birth anniversary of the legendary actor Superstar Krishna.

Mahesh Babu expressed his emotions by writing, "Today is all the more special! This one's for you, Nanna." SSMB28 marks the long-awaited reunion of Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas after a gap of 12 years. Their previous collaborations, "Athadu" and "Khaleja," were blockbuster hits, creating immense excitement among fans for their third venture. The film features Pooja Hegde as the female lead and S Thaman as the music composer. Scheduled for release on January 13, 2024, on the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi, SSMB28 has been generating high anticipation among audiences.

Coinciding with Krishna's birthday celebration, one of his blockbuster films, "Mosagallaku Mosagadu," has been re-released in theatres. Originally released on August 27, 1971, "Mosagallaku Mosagadu" became a tremendous success in the Telugu film industry, running for 100 days in theatres. Notably, it was the first-ever cowboy film in India and initiated the trend of pan-Indian and global appeal for Telugu cinema. Krishna's contribution to the film industry is being commemorated through this re-release, allowing fans to relish the classic again in 4K format.
