Maharaj: Junaid Khan make a good debut on the show

Unlike other star kids, Junaid Khan made a very low-key debut. There were hardly any headlines around his film, Maharaj that came on Netflix other than issue involving the Gujarat High Court. However, Junaid Khan has been liked for his acting skills. He played the part of a journalist Karsandas in the social drama. In an interview, Junaid Khan spoke about how Aamir Khan is a non-interfering parent, and only doles out advice when someone asks for it. Junaid Khan also has two more films lined up. It seems Aamir Khan had watched Maharaj some months back and liked it. Many wondered why Junaid Khan had such a quiet debut but things are looking good for him in the future. 

He (Aamir) normally lets us do what we want to do unless we ask for something very specific; then he gives advice. But he liked the film. Kuch mahino pehle dekhi thi unhone film aur unko kaafi pasand aayi. He normally tends to give very good advice but otherwise, he doesn't get involved in… he lets his kids be.

Junaid Khan said he is happy to see all the positive feedback for Maharaj. He feels all is well that ends well. Junaid said that he is full of emotions after the release of his first film. The young man underwent a huge physical transformation before he signed on the project. Initially, people felt he might pursue a career behind the camera but then he signed on three films. He has described it as a wild and crazy ride. 

Aamir Khan was a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show where he said that he always took advice of his parents. They would guide him a lot. But he said that his children Ira and Junaid do not do so. He said they have their own mind. Aamir Khan said children of other actors and filmmakers come to him for suggestions but his not his own children. 

Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi are coming together for a movie with an element of fantasy. They finished a schedule in Japan.
