Shilpa Shirodkar celebrated Gudi Padwa with the team of 'Silsila Pyaar Ka'!

Popular actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who is currently playing the role Janki Tiwari on 'Silsila Pyaar Ka' (Star Plus) seems to be very excited this Gudi Padwa. As Gudi Padwa is one of the most important festivals of Maharashtrians' and is considered as their New Year, Shilpa wants to bring in the new year in a more ecstatic way and she seems to be very excited to celebrate it with the team.

Since the actress was on a break for a while and has always celebrated the festival with her family... This time it is going to be little different, the actress will be celebrating it with her other family which is her on screen family. And on this festival, Shilpa has decided to make something sweet for her team on the set and get small gifts for them, as it is very very auspicious and every year she buys something for her close ones.

"When I was abroad I used to do pooja in the house and make Saakar bhaat. But now that I am in India, we take a stick, put a silk shawl, silver kalash, put a swastik on the kalash, and do the pooja with haldi kumkum and flower haar. We make saakar bhaat (sugar rice). This gudi that we make is hung outside the house."

"It's our New year and very auspicious for us hence each year I buy things for our family members..Chandi ke sikke and bartaan is a must must purchase for us. And this year I feel it is going to be a working Guddi Padwa for me and I want to do something special for my team as well," says Shilpa.
