Kumkum Bhagya actress Pooja Banerjee and husband Sandeep Sejwal blessed with a baby girl

Pooja Banerjee has been making headlines for her pregnancy journey. The actress opted to work until her last tremister and it is only recently that she bid an adieu to her show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ wherein she played the character of Rhea Mehra.

Post the show, the actress completed her professional commitments and shot for the brands and now, Banerjee has added a new member to her family. Pooja delivered a baby girl on Saturday morning.

Recently, in an interview, Pooja had stated that after delivery, she will shift to stay with her extended family in Delhi as she wants the baby to receive the love of the entire family. She mentioned that she grew up in a nuclear set-up and thus it will be more exciting to have her baby grow around many people.

Pooja’s brother was quoted saying, “We are in Nagpur right now, and we are extremely thrilled with this new addition into our family. Everyone in our family is in celebratory mode. Baby's father and daadi are by Pooja's side in the hospital. We too can't wait to see the baby and shall visit her soon."

After Pooja opted out of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, actress Tina Philip replaced in the show to play the character of Rhea. Pooja has been in the industry for a long time now. She started off her career with MTV Roadies and went on to do many impressive shows like Nagarjun, Chandranandani, Swim Team, Chandrakanta, Kasauti Zindagi Kay and Kumkum Bhagya.
