'Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala' fame Aakriti Sharma bags her next show

Not many would have expected Star Plus' Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala to go on and become a roaring hit the way it went on to become. Running for almost two years, the show was one of the most loved ones for Star Plus and the adorable father-daughter chemistry between Mohit Malik aka Sikander and Aakriti Sharma aka Kulfi was one of the show's biggest highlights.

Ever since the show has gone off-air, Sharma has not been a part of a fiction show as such but has now bagged her next project.

It is being said that Sharma has been roped in to play the lead role of Ganga in an upcoming show. As the title suggests, the show will be a mythological serial and is said to be airing on upcoming channel, Ishara TV.

Ganga is siad to be hailing from production house, Peninsula Pictures.

Peninsula Pictures have an alluring resume to boast of which consists of presenting shows like Vishkanya, Mayavi Maling, Paramavatar Shri Krishna, Vish:A Poisonous Story, Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha, Dev and the currently on-air, Hero: Gayab Mode On.
