It is no secret how the pandemic has led to an array of people being forced to face their toughest times - be it mentally or financially. One of the worst-hit industries in the mix as we know has been the entertainment industry where everyone ranging from the technicians to actors have been affected in one form or another.
Actor Kaushiki Rathore has had a decent run on the small screen having starred in shows like Krishna Chali London and Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari. The actor recently went on to talk about her journey of becoming an actor and how COVID-19 has affected her life and career.
In an interview with ETimes TV, Rathore said, “My career started in Delhi when I started doing theater and then I went on to do television shows. After coming to Mumbai, I got my first my first break in with Krishna Chali London and after that I got an amazing character in the show Guddia Hamari Sabhi Par Bhari and my last show was Story 9 Months Ki.”
Talking about how the pandemic has affected her career, she said, “The pandemic has made a big impact on my career because as soon as I signed new shows, they went off air. The same thing happened to me for 2 years straight. So COVID-19 is the biggest truth of our life which has stopped all the work and has had a huge impact on the entertainment industry, many things have slowed down, even after the lockdown was lifted, the industry isn't running as fast as it was."
