There's always been some time in our lives when we get nervous…sometimes it's so extreme we don't find words to talk. We go mute. Be it your job interview, a thanksgiving speech or the big step- wedding! Nervousness seems to bind us down at some point or another.
Just when we seem to think our TV stars at least don't need to bother about this, they reveal humbly that they too get panic attacks. They share their ways to handle it…

Well, I'm quite friendly with camera, so giving shots everyday is not a problem because you sort of… after a few days… fall into the cast of your character and can easily do what she does. But when it comes to giving auditions…I'm a total chicken. Oh! I get so nervous! To deal with it I start counting from 1 to 10 (laughs). Yeah, it helps!Karan Wahi
Sometimes I talk to my friends about it…and if there's no one I can talk to about…actually it depends on what issue I'm nervous about. See the most common kind of fear I have is stage fright. And nothing helps until I get on stage. Most of the times, I do the things that make me nervous again and again…I keep repeating until I'm completely over it.

I get nervous when I do something challenging or when I do something new. Being from a spiritual place (Ujjain) I take strength from God. I start saying Gayathri Mantra which gives me a sense of peace and stability. It calms me enough to do work without any hitch.
Sukirti Kandpal
I very rarely get nervous because I'm a very talkative person and talking sort of keeps all the nervousness at bay. If I do feel nervous, as an actress I tend to camouflage it and not show that I'm nervous (laughs).

Whenever I get nervous I take my God's name. I remember that everything that's happening is according to His wish and so nothing bad will happen. I'm a very spiritual person and whatever problem I have I discuss with my God.

I'm usually nervous when I need to give a speech. So if I forget a line then I insert my own…and it turns out even better (laughs). Apart from that, I feel you should be prepared for events or performances to help with the jitters. Believe in yourself and the confidence will help you deal with it!
