Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment, the powerhouse production companies behind the famed John Wick franchise, are gearing up to remake the yet-to-be-released Hindi action thriller "Kill." This exciting news comes even before the film's release in India, which is set for this Friday, July 5.

"Kill" stars debutant Lakshya, alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala, and has been creating a buzz since its premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival in 2023. The film's gripping action sequences, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, have captivated audiences, setting high expectations for its Indian release.

The Hindi version's producers, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta of Dharma Productions, along with Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain of Sikhya Entertainment, expressed their excitement about the international recognition. They shared that while filming "Kill," they had hoped for global acclaim, and seeing audiences in North America react positively was a dream come true. Their joint statement highlighted the thrill of partnering with Lionsgate, an award-winning studio known for its genre-defining action movies.

The producers also acknowledged the significant achievement of having a Hollywood remake announced before the original movie's release, calling it a monumental victory for Indian cinema. They expressed their honor and gratitude for this unprecedented recognition.
