Kiku Sharda says Rise and Fall pushes him beyond his comfort zone

Kiku Sharda, known for making audiences laugh with his comic timing and quirky expressions, is now set to try something very different. Talking about his decision, Kiku shared, “Fans know me as someone who spreads laughter, but in this show, people will get to see a different side of me. Honestly, I am not a very social person. Even if I attend a party that lasts for six hours, I usually leave within an hour. I enjoy staying at home in my comfort zone. But in Rise and Fall, I can’t disappear. I will be here with people all the time, so it’s a big challenge for me.”

He added that for the first time, audiences will get to see him beyond his comic characters. “People know me for my roles, not much for who I am otherwise. Here, I’ll be very visible, and everyone will see me as myself. That’s a new experience, and I wish myself all the best,” he said with a smile.

While humor is his identity, Kiku admitted he is unsure how it will come across in a reality show setup. He explained, “I hope the humor stays intact, but I’m not certain. In shows like this, comic actors often lose that side, and other things take over. I’ll go with the flow. I’m an easy-going person, and I don’t like taking unnecessary stress. Hopefully, that attitude will help me here too.”

Kiku also opened up about his personality beyond the stage. He avoids conflicts in his personal life and prefers peace. However, he described himself as emotional, especially when it comes to relationships. “I connect with people easily, and I don’t like losing those close to me. I don’t know what kind of bonds I’ll form on the show, but I hope they’re meaningful and long-lasting,” he said.
