Khichdi fame Richa Bhadra Approached for Bigg Boss 13

Colors’ popular reality show Bigg Boss will soon be making its way into our Television screens with its thirteenth season. While there have been rumours about different actors and celebrities being approached for the show, the latest buzz suggests that actress Richa Bhadra might enter the controversial house of Bigg Boss 13. 

Reports suggest that the actress has been approached for Bigg Boss 13 and things are almost finalized. 

Richa Bhadra started her career as a child artist, best known for her portrayal of Chakki in TV's one of the iconic shows, Khichdi. She worked alongside ace actors Supriya Pathak, Rajeev Mehta and Anang Desai among others. Apart from Khichdi, she was also seen in shows like Mrs Tendulkar and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. Later, the actress went away from the limelight and decided to leave the industry.

Recently, she made headlines when she revealed the reason behind quitting her acting career and blamed it on the casting couch. She shared about her bad experiences when she was body-shamed and asked to compromise during auditions.

Talking about her acting career in an interview with TOI, Richa revealed, "I came across a casting director who said, 'Keep me happy and I will give you work.' He wanted to meet me at a hotel when I suggested meeting at a coffee shop. That was the end to all my aspirations which I had in the industry. I didn't want to ruin the image which I had built as a child actor."
