Kavita Kaushik to make an entry in 'Lakshmi Ghar Aayi'

Actor Kavita Kaushik has been synonymous with the role of Chandramukhi Chautala in the long-running sitcom, F.I.R and has been on the tube for a long time as well. Apart from FIR though, Kaushik has not really been in too many shows in the fiction space.

However, after all this time, Kaushik is all set to make an entry in the show, Lakshmi Ghar Aayi. That's right. Reports suggest that Kaushik will soon be entering the show and will add several twists and turns to the storyline. Her look test is almost final. It is said that she will be playing cupid between the key characters of the show Raghav and Maithali, which is played by Akshit Sukhija and Simran Pareenja. She will play the role of Buxa Mausi (Jwala Devi's sister) and will be a part of the special Ganesh Chaturthi track.

Confirming the same with ETimes TV, Kaushik said, "I'm very happy to be working with producers Neelima Bajpai and Shyamashis Bhattacharya as I have a lot of respect for their work. Also, I love what my character will do for the storyline of the show. So many fun elements with a lot of variety of emotions will be displayed by each character due to Buxa mausi's antics. It's such a masaaledar and progressive character and I've done some interesting research of my own to give her yet another north Indian dialect and some fun one-liners. I can't wait to be part of this wonderful team."

We are sure the fans will be excited to see Kaushik back in a fiction TV show after such a long time.
