Kartik Aaryan opens on 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Vs Singham Again': "For me its more about Rooh Baba Vs. Manjulika"

Kartik Aaryan, who is all set to star in the highly anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, recently opened up about his film's box office clash with Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn. In an interview, Kartik shared his thoughts on the Diwali face-off between the two films and why he believes it's a celebration for moviegoers rather than a competition.

Speaking during an interaction, Kartik expressed that he doesn’t see the release of two big films on the same day as a problem. "Diwali is a huge holiday," he quoted to Pinkvilla, adding that both films belong to different genres, with Singham Again being an action-packed entertainer, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 offering horror-comedy. "Two films can easily work. As a moviegoer, it’s a festival for us to have two options, which is rare nowadays."

The actor humorously added that while some might view the release as a clash, his real focus is on his character Rooh Baba battling Manjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, not the competition between the two movies. Kartik shared that he doesn’t see it as a "versus" situation, joking that it’s all about Rooh Baba vs Manjulika for him. He further expressed his admiration for Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty, calling himself a fan of their work. "I don’t even feel right talking about a clash because I’m such a big fan of theirs," Kartik said.

The actor urged audiences to enjoy the best of both worlds this Diwali. "I’m excited to watch Singham Again, and I hope people come to watch Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 too. There’s room for both films to succeed," he said optimistically.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 marks the third installment in the popular franchise. Alongside Kartik Aaryan, the film stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit, with comedy icons like Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra adding to the fun.

On the other hand, Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, is the fifth film in the cop universe. It stars Ajay Devgn, alongside a stellar cast including Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Akshay Kumar. Both films are set for a grand Diwali release on November 1, 2024, promising a treat for Bollywood fans worldwide.
