Kapil Sharma is definitely a name to reckon with in the industry and all the work he has done over the years. While his humour could go both ways with those who see or hear of him, there's no way you wouldn't notice him. With Netflix's Kapil Sharma: I'm Not Done Yet, is a special which is fun, attention seeking in bits and pieces, and also, feels more personal in more ways than one. The ending, continues to be something you wouldn't possibly see coming!

The performance from the comedian was a live performance for wife Ginni Chatrath along with some family members and co-stars from the industry. Sharma visibly takes a walk down the memory lane as he talks about the journey, and subtly plugs in how he is the biggest comedian in India at this point of time, and it isn't even a humble brag, for it simply fine tunes itself while he speaks.

An absolute highlight of the special would be Kapil's ability to talk about the not so pleasant phases of his life, including talking to the therapist. He touched upon losing his father, dealing with depression, his controversial Tweets, among others. However, he does all of this not with a pinch of salt, but with a pinch of typical Sharma humour, and they make you feel bittersweet after all.

While many might believe that the show is majorly meant for his dedicated fanbase, he does manage to give you a couple of major laughing out loud moments after all. There's no perfect kind of humour, and that means one thing might not go well with some, but be a hit with others, and some of his jokes that fall into the category include the ones about 'class'.

But some of the best bits were those that touch upon political aspects of the country, in more ways than just one. Though you want to see intelligent humour when it comes to such topics, it can be an easy miss to entertain the audiences with that. One of the finest parts about the Kapil Sharma: I'm Not Done Yet special is how it balances out humour with some rather overwhelming moments, and they do have your heart. In fact, it might be relatable to many, including how he struggled in his career, his bond with his father, the ups and downs, and some more philosophy he very casually makes use of.

With all those things, he ends the show doing what he also does the best, that is sing. But the catch here is that he sings in English, and it is a song written by him that he has dedicated to his late father. And well, it is quite a hidden metaphor right there if you look closely, isn't it?

Overall, there are a bunch of highs that this Netflix special boasts of, and there are also some not so funny or relatable moments on it. However, there's something to watch for everyone here and you learn a few things here and there while you also have some laughs!
