Kanishka Soni talks about bagging the short film Resurrection with Siddhant Issar, the struggles during lockdown and more

A short film titled Resurrection: Jaago Aur Jiyo, written and directed by Puneet Issar's song and powerful theatre artist Siddhant Issar is out on the official Youtube channel of Showman Theatre Productions. The short film has been made with an attempt to spread awareness around mental health and suicide, especially given the pandemic. Among others, the movie also features the likes of Kanishka Soni, Gufi Paintal, and a few others. 

While the short film is meant for a greater cause, Kanishka, relates to her character for more reasons than one. She has had her own share of struggles during the lockdown and her tour abroad was also canceled, including many other projects which were being made on a large scale. She also lost on a south movie as the lead, and because projects were canceled and postponed, money got blocked as well.

Kanishka had taken a spiritual path for positivity and she reveals how soon after receiving a 'rudraksh' she ordered from Haridwar, she received the offer for the short film and is based on the current scenario.
