Kanan A Malhotra: I'm open to explore new opportunities

Actor Kanan A Malhotra who is currently part of two shows. He is seen essaying the role of Gunojirao in historical drama, Punyashlok Ahilyabai and also as Kartik in the supernatural series, Ishq Ki Dastaan – Naagmani. 

The actor who is very popular for his acting on TV screen talks about his views on contesting reality shows and acting in OTT series.

He said, "As an actor, it's great to see the rise of OTT platforms and reality TV shows offering exciting opportunities for artists like yourself. Both platforms have their own unique advantages and can help you showcase your talent to a wider audience."

He continued, "OTT platforms, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu, have gained immense popularity in recent years. They provide a platform for original and diverse content, allowing you to explore a wide range of roles and genres. These platforms often offer more creative freedom and flexibility, allowing you to work on projects with innovative storytelling and character development."

Sharing his interest towards contesting reality shows he added, "On the other hand, reality shows have their own appeal. They provide a platform for aspiring actors to gain visibility and recognition. Reality shows often have a large and dedicated fan base, which can help boost your popularity and open doors to various opportunities within the industry. Additionally, participating in reality shows can also help you develop your skills in improvisation, adaptability, and on-screen presence."

Malhotra who made his acting debut back in 2010 essaying the role of Aditya in the TV show Chand Chupa Badal Mein and later rose to fame playing the lead role of Daljeet Singh in 2012 drama Rab Se Sohna Isshq is open to explore new opportunities.

He revealed, "I'm open to take up reality shows or OTT series and explore new opportunities.
