2024 is dominated by movies from South India whether it is Pushpa 2 or Kalki 2898 AD. Prabhas, Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film has begun its promotions. The vehicle Bujji is travelling all over India. They have also released a prelude of Bhairava and Bujji on OTT. As we know, Telugu movies have a huge market in North America. Prabhas and Mahesh Babu are two stars with a crazy following in the US and Canada. Kalki 2898AD is coming in theatres on June 27, 2024. It has got a window of more than 10 days from the Kartik Aaryan film, Chandu Champion.

The advances for Kalki 2898AD is going to start in the US from June 8, 2024. This has been confirmed on social media by Prathyangira Cinemas. It can start even before that. Kalki 2898AD is made on a budget of Rs 600 crores. It is expected to take a global opening of Rs 150 crores plus. The movie needs to make close to Rs 1000 crores from cinema halls to be a box office hit. The rights have been bought at a huge rate. After Baahubali, Prabhas has been experimenting with movies. He did a romance like RadheShyam, Adipurush and an action film Salaar.

Kalki 2898AD is a sci-fi action movie with inspiration from Indian mythology. Nag Ashwin has confirmed that the Gods mentioned in the film are not ones commonly worshipped by Hindus. He said the film does not have any religious connotations but uses the element of faith. Unlike Salaar, the makers of Kalki 2898AD have put in time to introduce the world of the film. The OTT prelude has given fans a glimpse of all the characters using references from popular culture. Prabhas has dubbed in all languages.

Nani and Naga Chaitanya have already shown love for Bujji on social media. The makers roped in specialist engineers from Mahindra for the futuristic car. Nag Ashwin’s in-laws are the producers of Kalki 2898AD. His film Mahanati was loved by the masses and critics alike. Kalki 2898AD is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.
