Kalki 2898AD: Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Nag Ashwin movie is hotly awaited

The release trailer of Kalki 2898 AD is out now. The Hindi audience has finally been hooked onto the film. With the abundant references of the Mahabharata, this looks like a dystopian film with its roots in Indian mythology. Kalki 2898AD has crossed the USD 2.5 million mark in the US in advance sales for its premiere shows. It will soon break the record of RRR. Kalki 2898AD also has one million interests on PayTm. This is the first for an Indian movie. The promotional event in Mumbai that was attended by the entire cast and crew including Amitabh Bachchan. 

The movie is made on a budget of Rs 600 crore plus. One of the viral moments has been the one where Amitabh Bachchan touched the feet producer Ashwini Dutt. Fans talked about the kind of respect the megastar showed to him. He is younger to Big B by a few years. Kalki 2898AD has Kamal Haasan as the villain, and he has made immense impact with his transformation. The star cast of Kalki 2898AD is one of the best ever in the history of Indian cinema. Dulquer Salmaan is also expected to be in a cameo. 

Prabhas’ movies have always got openings of Rs 100 crores. Adipurush got a good opening but garnered negative reviews due to the experimental format. General audience was livid with some of the dialogues and looks of the revered characters. But Prabhas escaped unscathed as he had done his best. Post that, Salaar redeemed his box office standing. It made close to Rs 600 crores globally from theatrical collections. It should be noted that Prabhas’ films are always ones with unique concepts.
