It is jubilation time at the Indian box office. After Jawan in September 2023, we have had a clean hit with Kalki 2898 AD. It has made Rs 220 crores in India already. The best part is that it is blazing at the box office in all languages. Prabhas has proved that he is the top South Indian star in all parts of the nation. There was a small dip last evening due to the India Vs South Africa finals of the World T20 Championships. But today, it is running to almost packed houses in all parts of the country. The stellar visuals and Indian mythology combo has done the trick. 

Prabhas ruling the North America box office

Kalki 2898 AD has made Rs 75 crores at the North America box office. Even in Kerala, a slow market for Telugu films it has seen 40 per cent jump in morning shows on Sunday. On Book My Show, it has surpassed both Jawan and Leo. Well, records are meant to be broken. There is close to 50 per cent occupancy in cinema halls of major cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi.  

All-time records for an Indian movie

It has made Rs 410 crores (gross) in three days. It looks like the makers will cover the budget of Rs 600 crores in less than a week. Around 96K plus tickets have been sold on Book My Show. Jawan had 86K tickets. It has made Rs 25 crores in Karnataka and Rs 16 cr plus in Tamil Nadu. We have Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin. He is one of the big stars of Tamil industry. 

'Kalki 2898 AD' crosses the lifetime of Salaar

Kalki 2898 AD has crossed the lifetime of Salaar in three days flat in the US. That movie had made above Rs 600 crores though it was declared average. Kalki 2898 AD is challenging the big Hollywood releases of the week.
