Kajol reveals the reason behind her viral 'rude' behavior with paparazzi

Kajol, celebrated for her remarkable performances, recently drew attention for what some perceived as rude behavior towards paparazzi at a Durga Puja pandal. Responding to the buzz, Kajol openly admitted that while she doesn't often lose her temper, she does have off days. She stressed that she won't conform to public expectations of celebrity behavior, asserting her refusal to constantly modify herself to fit the idealized image that people might have.

In a recent interview with Zoom, Kajol addressed the ongoing buzz about her perceived rude behavior towards paparazzi, a topic that has garnered significant media attention. She shared her thoughts on social media, highlighting how posts are often curated to showcase a flawless image, complete with perfect angles and idealized portrayals of life.

Kajol believes that this pursuit of perfection doesn't accurately reflect people's true selves, noting that real life is much more complex than just carefully staged photos and posts. She explained that her approach to social media is intentional, aiming to present her authentic self. On her Instagram, she doesn't chase perfection and acknowledges that she experiences both good and bad days, which are all part of her identity.

She made it clear that she will not constantly modify herself to meet public expectations of celebrity behavior, especially regarding maintaining a flawless image or suppressing her emotions.

She said, “I do get angry, I have bad days and good days—that’s me. I think that I cannot and will not sit down and edit myself time and again for somebody else’s idea of 'she is a celebrity and she should not lose her temper'.”

Recently, a video of Kajol went viral, showing her visibly upset with paparazzi at a Durga Puja pandal. The photographers had crowded the front to capture the festivities, which clearly frustrated her. In response, she firmly requested that they step aside to allow the devotees to have their darshan without obstruction. She said, "People are standing behind you for anjouli. Please move aside, please side ho jaiye, peeche ho jaiye. Anjouli dene ke liye logo ko aane dijiye."

At the same Durga Puja celebration, another moment caught attention when Kajol was seen warmly interacting with Jaya Bachchan. As they were deep in conversation, Kajol suddenly turned around, visibly annoyed by the loud whistling that interrupted their exchange. She was heard saying, “Kaun hai ye, seeti kaun baja raha hai? (Who’s whistling?) Tell him to stop; it's ridiculous.”
