John Abraham Meets Olympic Medalist Manu Bhaker: "She Has Made India Proud"

Several Indian athletes have excelled at the current Summer Olympics 2024 in Paris. Notably, shooter Manu Bhaker secured two bronze medals in her impressive performance this year. Alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, numerous Bollywood stars extended their congratulations to Manu for her remarkable feat. Upon her return to India today, August 7, actor John Abraham met with Manu, sharing a photo together and expressing pride in her accomplishment for bringing glory to the nation.

Today, John Abraham posted a lovely photo on his Instagram featuring athlete Manu Bhaker. In the picture, Manu was holding one of her bronze medals from the Olympic 2024 games, while John held the other. Both of them radiated smiles for the camera, capturing a moment of shared joy and pride.

In the caption, John shared that he also met Manu's family and expressed his admiration for her. The Vedaa actor wrote, "Had the pleasure of meeting @bhakermanu and her lovely family. She has made India proud!!! 🇮🇳 Respect."

For those who may not know, Manu Bhaker achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian athlete to win two Olympic medals in a single edition post-independence. She clinched a bronze in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event and also in the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh. Her victory holds even more historical significance as she is the first Indian woman to earn an Olympic medal in shooting.

John Abraham's upcoming action drama, Vedaa, sounds super exciting.
