Jhanak: Jhanak's memories of Aniruddha affect her performance during shoot

Tonight's episode of Jhanak begins with Mrinalini requesting Lalon to stay back, explaining that she has gotten a leave from school and the whole family is together. Lalon, however, insists that he must leave for work, saying the boys will only be able to put together a small pandal for the Durga idol if he doesn't go. He seeks Dadi's blessings before leaving, to which Dadi playfully teases him. She advises him not to be upset by Rumi's comments.

Lalon replies that he knows Appu treats everyone equally, pointing out that she wouldn't have married him otherwise. Bablu then remarks on how Lalon used to live in a big house, while Choton optimistically adds that he might regain his house soon. Shubho, annoyed by the trivial conversation, tells Rumi and Tanuja to go to their rooms, and they exit. Dadi then says it's time to begin the ritual. Anjana performs the aarti, and just as they are about to proceed, Jhanak prepares for her shot, arriving on set. Aditya is struck by her appearance, compliments her, and jokingly suggests she imagine Aniruddha during their upcoming romantic scene to make it more impactful. She asks him not to joke as it hurts her feelings. Apologising, Aditya reassures her before they head for the shot. 

The director commends Aditya's natural performance but gives Jhanak some pointers. Distracted by thoughts of Aniruddha, she struggles with the scene. Meanwhile, Choton drops Mrinalini at school despite her insistence she could go alone. He hints that Anjana arranged this to give them time to talk. During their conversation, Choton unintentionally confesses his feelings for her. Startled, Mrinalini challenges him, calling him a coward for avoiding responsibility. Choton admits he's poor but also reveals his love for her, leaving Mrinalini shocked.

Realising he may have spoken too much, Choton tries to apologise again, but Mrinalini criticises him for lacking ambition and courage. Choton agrees, admitting his shortcomings and saying he deserves her anger. She then asks why he never completed his graduation, to which he admits he was more focused on playing football. Suggesting that she should find a more suitable partner, Choton urges her to forget about him, but she tells him to be quiet.

Meanwhile, Aniruddha returns home, and Appu welcomes him with a hug. She asks about Jhanak, but Arshi, upset, confronts him, accusing him of being the reason she doesn't want to stay in the house anymore. Appu defends Aniruddha, saying he's tired and comparing Arshi's behaviour to Bipasha's. Shrishti, in a rage, begins to scold Anjana and Lalon, but Aniruddha steps in to stop her. Appu also gets upset, but Bipasha attempts to calm her down. Shrishti insists she and Aniruddha need to discuss something in private, but Aniruddha refuses, saying they will talk in front of everyone as he has done nothing wrong.

Back on set, Jhanak apologises for messing up the shot, but Aditya reassures her, saying it's fine. He attributes her strong performance to the personal emotions she's experiencing, admitting that she likely thought of Aniruddha during the scene. Jhanak promises that it won't happen again. Aditya tries to comfort her, reminding her that she can't be with Aniruddha and that she shouldn't let her emotions hurt her. She agrees, saying she won't let herself be hurt again. They prepare for another take.

Back at the house, Aniruddha explains that he went to help a relative who was sick, but Shrishti criticises him, saying it wasn't his place to get involved. Vinayak inquires about the outcome of the operation, but Shrishti dodges the question, saying they'll discuss it later. She accuses Jhanak of manipulating Aniruddha, but Appu defends her, saying Jhanak is a good person.

Jhanak and Aditya successfully complete the reshoot, earning applause from the crew. The director praises Jhanak's performance this time, and Aditya compliments her as well. Lalon announces that he and Appu should leave, but Bablu insists they stay for the ritual. Tanuja then questions whether the house even belongs to them, to which Anjana responds affirmatively, noting that they live there with the same rights as anyone else. 

Bipasha throws a sarcastic comment in their direction, to which Lal remarks that some people have an aversion to hearing the truth. Bablu scolds him and asks Lalon and Appu to go to a room to talk. However, Aniruddha stops them, insisting that everything should be discussed openly. Bablu protests that it might not be appropriate, but Aniruddha stands firm. Arshi, growing frustrated, declares that she has made up her mind and no longer wants to stay in the house.

In the upcoming scenes, Arshi meets Aniruddha's boss  to send him abroad for on-site project, noting that he had always refused. Aniruddha, however, declares that he's ready to go now. Arshi hints that he didn't get something he wanted, and Aniruddha, thinking of Jhanak, decides to confess his feelings to Arshi.
