Jhanak: Aniruddha nearly accepts Jhanak as his reason for declining abroad work offers; Arshi mocks him

Recently, Jhanak faces a life-altering moment when she unexpectedly collapses, leading to the startling revelation of a tumour that necessitates urgent surgery. As Aditya Kapoor quickly takes her to the hospital and covers the expenses, Aniruddha arrives in Mumbai, determined to stand by Jhanak during this tumultuous time. In this critical moment, Aniruddha realises his profound love for her while praying for her recovery.

After a successful operation, he meets Jhanak and expresses his feelings, but she struggles to accept his love. She accuses him of being selfish and questions his commitment to her, stating that he would abandon her for his family. Jhanak expresses relief that she is not carrying his child, emphasising her desire for a fresh start without him in her life. Despite Aniruddha's emotional pleas, she firmly insists that she does not love him and wants him to leave. Aniruddha, heartbroken, pleads with her to reconsider, but she remains resolute, declaring that her truth is rooted in her feelings of anger and betrayal. As he leaves, both are left in tears, marking a painful moment of separation in their lives.

Upon arriving at the Bose household, Aniruddha finds Arshi firmly declaring that her decision is final: she no longer wants to stay there. Aniruddha questions her choice, reminding her that she is the daughter-in-law of the house. Arshi, however, insists on knowing when they will be going abroad. In response, Aniruddha agrees that they will leave as soon as possible. Shrishti interjects, expressing their mistrust and insisting that he put it in writing.

In the upcoming episode of Jhanak, Arshi plans to accompany Aniruddha to his office, where she intends to speak with his boss. When they arrive, the boss greets them warmly. Aniruddha mentions that Arshi has a request to make. She boldly reveals that the boss was supposed to send Aniruddha abroad for an on-site assignment. The boss replies that he has suggested it multiple times, but Aniruddha always declined, leading him to send someone else instead, which surprises Arshi.

Taking a stand, Aniruddha admits that he had personal issues before but is now ready to go, which makes Arshi smile. The boss then inquires if everything is alright, noticing that Aniruddha seems a bit down. Arshi seizes the opportunity to tease Aniruddha, remarking that while he is physically fit, he appears mentally disturbed, which astonishes the boss. Concerned, the boss presses for an explanation. Arshi suggests that perhaps Aniruddha didn't get what he truly wanted, hinting at an unfulfilled wish.
