Jhanak: Aniruddha plans to leave the country once justice is achieved for Jhanak's death

Tonight’s episode of Jhanak unfolds with intense emotions as Jhanak grapples with shocking revelations about Kul Bhushan’s true character. Her heart fills with revulsion as she discovers her mother had taken her own life, unable to bear the disdain of her husband. A twist of fate comes when the Pandit promises that Jhanak will finally learn her father’s identity, a revelation that leaves her deeply moved. Meanwhile, Brij Bhushan admits that Kul Bhushan is the root cause of his troubled life, prompting Jhanak to recall the endless mistreatment and insults her mother endured from Kul Bhushan.

At the Bose residence, tension escalates as the brothers clash. Chhoton insists on setting up a separate kitchen from Tanuja’s, leading to a heated moment where he raises his hand in anger when Lal resists the decision. The mention of Jhanak’s name ignites Arshi’s rage, while Bablu emphasises the sacrifice Jhanak made with her life. Aniruddha is equally determined to seek justice for her, believing that she deserves retribution for the suffering inflicted on her by Srishti Mukherjee.

Brij Bhushan recounts Kul Bhushan’s betrayal;

Elsewhere, Lalon holds onto hope that Jhanak is still alive. When he shares his suspicion with Appu, she is elated at the possibility. However, their mood shifts drastically when Lal receives a call informing him about Jhanak’s funeral arrangements at the Bose residence, where the entire family has been invited. The news devastates Appu, shattering her last glimmer of hope.

In another scene, Brij Bhushan recounts how Kul Bhushan’s betrayal altered his life, yet the Pandit saved him, spurring Brij Bhushan to pursue vengeance against his brother. The Pandit, equally resolute, insists on punishing Kul Bhushan, and together they devise a plan to lure him into a gathering where Jhanak will appear in disguise. Meanwhile, Jhanak dreams of finally meeting her father. She accepts Brij Bhushan as her mentor, vowing to learn dance under his guidance.

Srishti Mukherjee faces intense interrogation in jail, with two officers pressing her for the truth. Though she attempts to assert her innocence, claiming she had no knowledge of Jhanak's death, the officers reveal they possess call recordings that implicate her and Tejas as the primary culprits. Just as pressure mounts, Srishti's lawyer arrives with her bail papers, temporarily halting the investigation.

Aniruddha's promise:

Back at the Bose household, Aniruddha’s grandparents plan a memorial ceremony for Jhanak, who once lived with them. Although Shubho objects, her mother insists on proceeding with the arrangements. Aniruddha supports the idea, but his grandmother imposes a condition—after the ceremony, he must let go of all memories of Jhanak. Aniruddha finds this impossible, though his grandfather advises him to focus on work and resume a normal life. In a final act of resolution, Aniruddha promises to leave the country after ensuring justice is served for Jhanak’s death. 

As Bablu talks about the absence of Jhanak's body, Aniruddha shares the news that a few people had taken her body away, but the details remain unclear. He reveals that the police have received a tip regarding an ashram nearby, where some sadhus reportedly saw her body during the incident, expressing his sorrow at not being able to bid her a final farewell.

Meanwhile, Jhanak learns about Brij Bushan's family. She presses for more information as she learns about his daughter and dead wife. The Pandit cautious Jhanak on further inquiry, assuring she will eventually learn Brij's past.
