Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal extends support to Palak Sindhwani; calls TMKOC 'a jail'

Palak Sindhwani has clapped back at the legal notice sent by the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah production team. The actress has accused them of mental harassment, exploitation, and threats. This isn't the first instance of actors pointing fingers at the makers, who have a history of facing such allegations. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, known for portraying Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi, has voiced her support for Palak and slammed the production team for causing turmoil among the actors.

Speaking to Times Now, Jennifer emphasized that the ordeal Palak faced is a common occurrence for every cast member. She highlighted that the production team consistently stirs up issues for artists who voice their intention to leave the show. She added, "In fact, the makers could not do anything. They create such dramas often. They will never let people leave happily."

Drawing from her own encounters and the mistreatment actors have endured on set, Bansiwal labeled Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as a 'jail'. The actress detailed how, when Palak expressed her desire to exit the show, the producers followed their usual pattern of creating chaos by sending her a legal notice.

Recalling her time working with Palak Sindhwani on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Airlift actress shared that the young actress is 'sweet' and expressed concern that she must be feeling anxious as the production house has not yet settled her payment.

Jennifer also conveyed her confidence in Palak, trusting that she would navigate the situation wisely. Shedding light on the pending payment issue, Jennifer disclosed, "It's been one and a half years, and I am yet to receive my payment."

Having collaborated with Palak for four years, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal revealed that the production team has made similar accusations against numerous actors who disclosed their intention to depart from the show. She mentioned that fellow actors like Raj Anadkat, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, and several others have encountered comparable challenges.

"They will play the same game with Palak as well. They don't know that the people now are aware of their tactics and the torture they have been doing to the artists will come before the people." When discussing the potential impact of the controversy on the future of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Bansiwal remarked that the show will remain unaffected unless individuals step forward and address the mistreatment they endure on the sets.

For those not aware, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal lodged a police complaint against the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumarr Modi, accusing him of making inappropriate advances towards her. She also initiated legal proceedings against producers Sohil Ramani and Jatin Ramani. After her contentious departure from the show, Monaz Mevawalla was brought on board to portray Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi.
