Janhvi Kapoor stays calm as she's mobbed at Dahi Handi event; actress wows with fluent Marathi

Janhvi Kapoor has been busy promoting her upcoming movie, Param Sundari that is produced by Maddock Films. Today, she was the chief guest at Ram Kadam’s Dahi Handi event, which is the biggest in Mumbai. She wore a white lehenga with a champagne gold crop top choli that had embroidery done on it. Janhvi Kapoor wore her hair in a braid that was decked with flowers. A kundan set finished off her look. Sidharth Malhotra did not attend the event, so she took her friend Srashti Soni with her. The lady also wore an outfit in the same combination. Both of them looked like divine desi beauties in that attire.

We can see that Janhvi Kapoor was mobbed at the event. Her security was getting pushed all around. While the actress tried to make way for herself, she was also briefly stuck in the mayhem. However, Janhvi Kapoor kept her calm and walked inside the car. It was raining during the event but Janhvi Kapoor kept her spirits high, and even spoke to the crowd in Marathi.

Janhvi Kapoor also spoke to the crowd in Marathi. She wished them on the festive occasion. The actress said she was a Maharashtrian at heart. As we know, her beau Shikhar Pahariya is the maternal grandson of former Maharashtra minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. He is the son of Sanjay Pahariya and Smruti Shinde (daughter of Sushil Kumar Shinde). Ram Kadam is one of the prominent MLAs of Mumbai. He is a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

We can see that she took care to protect the back of her blouse in the rains. The blouse was an intricately designed one and she kept it safe from any damage. Janhvi Kapoor put a handkerchief over the back of the blouse. Param Sundari is coming in theatres from August 29, 2025.
