Choreographer Geeta Kapur, all set to judge another season of Zee TV's DID Supermoms Season 2, was recently embroiled in a controversy. Geeta was locked up in the custody for rash driving and the news created a stir in the media.
While everything has been settled, Geeta clarifies her stance on the issue and says, "It was 4.30 a.m. in the morning and nobody was on the road but suddenly I saw a man standing in front of me. it was a split second decision as on the left there were people sleeping on the footpath and a car in front. So to save people and the car both I opted for the right as I thought divider would stop me, but it didn't. It was a wrong decision and I am sorry for it. The guy was a pedestrian, who suddenly came in front of my car and got hurt."
Geeta who was acquitted for the crime, is thankful to the Mumbai Police as she says, "The Mumbai police does their job very well. They are handling it, they have given their statement about what really happened, and where clarifications are concerned we are still trying to get the exact happenings around."
We asked her if she is guilty about the incident or not, she avers, "It was totally unintentional, everyone feels bad after such incidents. No one does such thing intentionally or purposely. I think when mistakes happen or accidents occur they are sheer accident and it's not something that you would want."
"But I am just glad that whoever was injured has been taken care of. Had I not taken care of that person, then there would be surely a guilt in me. It was unintentional and everyone has been kind about it, even the family members and the police has been kind," ends Geeta, who says that the accident was unintentional.
We wish Geeta all the best for her show!

I love her. Shes rught these accidents happen. No one does it purposrlly and in the moment its always a 2 second decision u have to make. She made a decision and it didnt end the best but it ended better than what could have been.. ie a car hitting numerous sleeping homeless. I wish this case gets settled soon for her and for the pedestrian hope he or she is better. Although i still blame pedestrian j walkers in these situations. They shouldnt be j walking in the first place. But oh well wish both well.
