Actress Ira Sone, who began her acting career in 2007 with the popular show "Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan," is very active on her social media handles. She serves her fans with some drool-worthy pictures and video content. But as everything has some cons, so do the cons of social media.
When asked about how she deals with the negativity on social media, she says, "We live a parallel digital life, and it does take up a big space in our day-to-day living, so a negative comment on social media does pinch, but the sad part is we have developed tolerance towards trolls."
Ask Ira if she has not posted any of her pictures on social media because she is afraid of getting trolled or getting unnecessary bad comments. She fearlessly says, "My social media page is a reflection of my personality, and no, I don’t let any haters decide how I should express myself. I do me, and most of the time I don’t care about trolls or even laugh at them."
Talking about dealing with trolls, she says,
"Most of the time I don’t read comments because there are too many, but once in a while a persistent troll does catch my attention, and I’d be lying if I say the negativity doesn’t make me sad. Some comments are just so mean and demeaning."
On the work front, Ira is presently in talks for a couple of more projects in web shows; more details are expected to arrive soon.
