Iqbal Azad to join Surbhi and Dheeraj for ‘Sherdil Shergil’

Colors’ is all set to bring an interesting television show titled ‘Sherdil Shergil’. The show is produced by Saurabh Tiwari’s Parin Multimedia Pvt Ltd. The show stars actors like Surbhi Chandana and Dheeraj Dhoopar in lead roles. 

India Forums exclusively broke the news about actors like Sai Ballal of ‘Udaan’ fame and Nitin Bhatia of ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ fame have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the show. Now, the latest buzz is that actor Iqbal Azad has also been roped in for the project and the actor will be seen an important role in the show.

Iqbal is known for his stint in shows like Bepannah, Pinjra Khoobsurti Ka among others. As per sources, Iqbal is currently shooting at Shimla along with the cast and crew of the show.

A source close to the show was quoted saying, “The story is a breakaway from usual saas-bahu sagas. SS is a rom-com revolving around two individuals from different backgrounds and ideologies. While Dheeraj is the privileged one Surbhi will play a self-made woman. It will be interesting to see how their paths cross and they fall in love eventually. The unit is expected to commence the shoot in a couple of weeks.”

Saurabh Tewari’s Parin Multimedia Pvt Ltd has delivered variety of shows like Pinjra Khoobsurti Ka, Iss Mod Se Jaate Hain, Krishna Chali London among others.

Surbhi Chandana rose to fame with projects like Ishqbaaaz, Naagin 5 among others while Dheeraj is known for his performances in projects like Sasural Simar Ka and Kundali Bhagya among others.
