If a project is good and the people involved matter to me, I immediately say yes: Ila Arun on Aafat-E-Ishq

Produced by Zee Studios and directed by Indrajit Nattoji, ‘Aafat-E-Ishq’ on Zee5 is a dark dramedy with supernatural elements and a whodunnit twist. It is the official remake of ‘Liza, the Fox-Fairy’, a Hungarian film which was a huge success internationally and won numerous awards at various film festivals. The film which features an ensemble star cast comprising Namit Das, Deepak Dobriyal, Amit Sial and Ila Arun in pivotal roles, will premiere on ZEE5 on 29th October.

Talking about taking up on the role and what made her give a nod to the movie, Ila Arun tells India Forums, ''Aafat-e -Ishq has been of great emotional value to me. I am an individual who is very sentimental like if a project is good and the people who are involved in the project matter to me, I immediately say 'YES' without really even thinking that the role that I am about to take over is a cameo.''

The trailer of the movie released a couple of days ago and witnessed Neha in a never before seen avatar, a woman out on a quest for love. However, things get rather interesting as she becomes a prime suspect after deaths. Just like in the old pulp novel where the suitors of Laal Pari, a fabled cursed woman died as soon as they fell in love with her, Lallo is convinced that she too is cursed as all her suitors start dying in freak fatal accidents.
