A few weeks back we had informed you that the ever loved jodi of Bunty Aur Babli is set to make a return on-screens but with a twist. The twist being the sequel will consist of not one but two lead pairs. It was reported that Rani Mukherjee-Abhishek Bachchan starrer will start the shooting for the movie next month and the set was going to be constructed in Mumbai in the first week of June.
Ever since the movie was announced, there have been speculations and rumors about who will be playing the second lead in the film. Many names have been tossed around, from Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khattar to Janhvi Kapoor. In an exclusive interview with In.com, when asked about the same rumors, the Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi revealed, “Well frankly that was just a speculation. If it happens, then I would love to be a part of the film. It will be a fantastic franchise to watch out for.”

He said, “I am a huge fan of the film.
"I had also bought a tape, which I used to play over and over again at home. Not only that, I used to dance at parties on the hit track Kajra Re (starring Aishwarya). I would not only dance like Abhishek and Amitabh Sir, but also do Aishwarya’s steps.”
When asked him about the other speculation of Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor doing the film, he says, “I will be happy if that happens too. Ishaan is a very dear friend. In fact, he is the only friend I have in the industry. I would like to watch him in the film’s sequel. That boy is extremely talented.”

On the work front, Siddhant recently dubbed the Hindi version of Men In Black: International, starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, which was released yesterday. The actor says that he has two big projects to look forward to. He is just waiting for the producers to announce the projects which he feels are very grand. Meanwhile, his web series Inside Edge 2 is under post-production.
