The first pan India film superstar Prabhas is on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Radhe Shyam. The actor, in a recent interview opened up about the pressure on work after Baahubali, working with Pooja Hegde, his favourite bit of Vikram in the film, and a lot more.
The Baahubali actor was asked about his thoughts on being under pressure to do big films and give big hits, he replied saying,
“It is, without a doubt, a responsibility. You don't want to disappoint your fans, so you don't want to let them down. So, the pressure is there. It's easier for me to make a commercial than a love story like Radhe Shyam. Naturally, it has all of the necessary commercial elements. However, some people enjoyed Saaho while others did not. Producers and directors are glad to work with me on hardcore commercial pictures. I'm not sure why I put myself through so much stress, worry, and pressure. We were planning not to make Radhe Shyam huge. But that did happen. Salaar and Adipurush both are also big. Project K is a massive undertaking. Now I'm thinking of doing a comedy.”

Prabhas also praised his co-actor Pooja Hegde who plays his love interest in the film named Prerna. On being paired up with her he said,
“Our pair is one biggest advantage for a love story. We had a discussion of how she is going to do but we all thought she has that thing and I think she did a very good job in Radhe Shyam. I think she is a big asset to Radhe Shyam.”
The actor also revealed that being a part of the love story in this film was his favourite part of playing his character Vikram.
Apart from Prabhas and Pooja, ‘Radhe Shyam’ also stars Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarsi Pulikonda, and Murli Sharma among others. The film has been simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi languages. It will hit the theatres on March 11, 2022.
