"I miss original Leela's avatar of taunting 'Anupamaa" says Alpana Buch

It is absolutely no secret how Anupamaa has not only struck a chord with the viewers for over 7-8 months now and not only that but it convincingly tops the charts every week.

The characters of the show have already become iconic and one of them has been that is Leela, who is Anupamaa's mother-in-law. One would know how Leela was a constantly criticizing lady to Anupamaa but had gone through quite a change of graph over time and with so many revelations happening, she has begun understanding and liking Anupamaa a lot more.

Talking about it exclusively with Tellychakkar, she said, 'I am feeling good about the transformation of my character. However, I used to love to taunt Anupamaa onscreen. I miss being Anupamaa's mother-in-law. But somewhere Leela has now turned into a mother to Anupamaa. It pains her to see how her family is going to break down soon with Anupamaa and Vanraj's divorce.''

She added, ''Leela has changed herself in the hope that Anupamaa might stay back. Amid all this, Leela's soft-corner can be seen on the show and I do miss being the Leela I used to be earlier.''

We are sure the fans love-to-hate and now just love Leela and ever.
