I love to explore myself: Gautam Handa

Actor Gautam Handa, who has earlier been featured in many popular episodic series like Gumrah, CID, Aahat etc. and was recently also seen on 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', has entered Life Ok's show 'Zindagi Abhi Baki Hai Mere Ghost'.

In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Gautam shares more about taking up comedy, his struggling days and much more. Read on to know more about him...

What made you take up comedy?

I love to explore myself. I have played both positive and negative characters in few episodics but have never played a comic character. This is the first time that I am playing a comic role and I am learning a lot from Muni (Muni Jha) Sir and Sejal (Sejal Shah) Mam. I hope people will like me in this comic role.

Do you have to struggle in life? If yes, then what made you stronger?

Struggle is just a state of mind and I took it as a learning period. It's all about how you take it. So whatever comes to my way, I learn from it but yes, I am a human and whenever I used to feel low, my Mom was always with me and she made me stronger.

What inspired you to take up acting?

I always used to participate in plays when I was in college. Since then, I realized that this is the only thing I can do in my life. One has to earn to live and I don't think that I have any other talent other than this, from which I can earn.

What are the challenges you have come across so far in the industry?

The biggest challenge you come across in this industry is patience. If you want to work on TV, then you have to give your best in auditions and stay patient because it takes time, but if you are talented then you will definitely get work.
