I have played all sorts of Holi during my childhood: Aanchal Goswami of ‘Rishton Ka Manjha’

The festival of colours, Holi, is celebrated across the country with great zeal and enthusiasm. The festival is also known for the victory of good over evil in the mythological lore. And interestingly, the festival is celebrated in incredibly different ways with uniqueness by each Indian state with a beautiful blend of different cultures and traditions.

India Forums got in touch with actress Anchal Goswami who plays the role of Diya in Zee TV show ‘Rishton Ka Manjha’ and asked her about the festival. She quipped, “Holi is the festival of colors and it brings a lot of fun and excitement with itself. Every year, I plan an excellent Holi party and enjoy it to the fullest. I have played all sorts of Holi during my childhood- be it either throwing eggs or balloons filled with colors on strangers. My Holi meal is incomplete without Kheer Poori, Aloo Ki Sabzi, and Achaar. But this year’s Holi will be different since most of my friends are not here, and the Holi party will include only my close family members".

She added, “This year, I am looking to celebrate an eco-friendly Holi. I would like my fans to also be responsible while celebrating the festival. We should use organic colors this year as it does not harm skin, enjoy but be considerate towards other people and their mood. Also, staying safe this Holi is very important.”
