Jiya Shankar who was last seen in Colors TV's show 'Pisachini' and Ritesh Deshmukh's film 'Ved' has entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house today. India Forums had exclusively informed you about the actress being the first confirmed contestant of the show.

Well, before entering the Bigg boss OTT house, Jiya, got in an exclusive chat with us and spoke about her forthcoming journey in the show. We asked the actress about why did she decide to take up this season of the show and the actress said, ''When the show was first offered to me, I denied the offer because my film was already lined up. However, the film got postponed, so I convinced my manager and took up this season of Bigg Boss OTT.''

Further, talking on whether or not she has followed the previous seasons of the show and who's journey inspires her, Jiya said, ''Honestly, I have not followed the previous seasons of Bigg Boss. Whatever little information I have about the show and its contestants is because of the media and the social media. I had been busy with my shows and with television you do not have the time to catch up with other things. Regardless of this, from whatever little information I have about the show, I think I really liked Shiv Thakare. I relate to his personality, I can say that I have a similar personality. And if you ask me about Bigg Boss OTT, I loved Divya's game. She was all alone in the show and was always attacked by other contestants, however, she tackled it all and came out a strong.''
