What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me is all about your style. It's a reflection of what you are.
Which is the one dress that can never go out of fashion?
The formal black dress.
Your favorite designer
In the Indian scene I like Sabyasachi and among international designers I like mark Jacobs.
Favorite perfume
Oh! I'm a complete perfume person. I've loads and loads of them. Hard to choose actually. I'll go with Flower by Kenzo.
Favorite line of bags and shoes
Prada shoes and Christian Dior bags
Do you prefer make-up or being without it?
Without it.
Since you are required to wear make-up as an actress, which brand of make-up do you prefer?
The options are very limited in India actually. I go for Bobbi Brown, Mac and Make Up Forever.
Your favorite fashion destination?
High Street Kensington, London.
Designer label or platform ka maal?
Both.
What do you do on a bad hair day?
Haven't figured that one actually. (Laughs) I just put a pony tail.
The accessories that you usually prefer…
Rings and necklaces
Do you feel the electronic gadgets we carry reflect our style statement?
Yes they do. Nowadays they customize everything. To top it, people also add stickers or diamond trinkets to add more of their personal touch.
Who do you feel is the most influential trendsetter at present?
Mischa Barton.
Who is your style icon?
Nobody.
Do you take fashion advice from others or you follow your own instincts?
I follow my own instincts. People may tell you this will suit, and that will look good on you but it could turn out to be horrible on you. So I believe in my own fashion sense.
The hottest color this season…
Lilac and grey. And there is the classic white which is hot season after season.
