I am very passionate towards my work, I cannot take it lightly: Rachna Parulkar

Talented actress Rachna Parulkar who is all set to play the role of grown up Ajabde in Sony TV's Maharana Pratap, is sure to make her fans happy. The actress who made a sudden exit from the much loved show in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan on Zee TV is set to charm her fans in the historical show. Rachna talks about her role, show and more with TellyBuzz.

How excited are you for this new venture?

I am very excited for my new venture. I am looking forward for today's episode as the entry sequence will be shown in today's episode. It's a difficult show and it is something different than what I have done earlier.

What do you have to say about the kids who have done a wonderful job in Maharana Pratap?

Both the kids Faizal I Khan and Roshni Walia have done a wonderful job as kids. Faizal I Khan was perfect in the role of Maharana. Roshni Walia was very energetic as Ajabde both of them has set a level for the show. I and Ssharad  Malhotara will try to make our best to maintain that level.

How different will this show be for you?

There is a lot of difference between a Saas Bahu show and a historical show. In a normal daily soap you can change your plot according to your convenience but in a historical show you have to portray reality and you can't even think of changing plot. One needs to portray history in a proper manner if its not showed properly then thing can go wrong.

I have to put lot of efforts to do this character. I need to take care of my language, body postures and also I have to carry myself gracefully in the costume. Though I am facing difficulties but as I will get into the comfort zone and it will be fun to doing this character.

You are a part this industry from a long time so what do you feel about it?

Being the part of this industry for a long period I feel that it's a myth that the industry is bad, no industry is bad or good its just that sometimes you come across bad people and one should know how to deal with such people. I just love my work, doing different shows has helped to nurture my acting skills. I am very passionate towards my work and I just cannot take it lightly, I strongly believe in hard work.

A message you want to pass on to your fans?

I want to thank all my fans on twitter, India forums who have supported me throughout my career, I will try to live up to their expectations I will never let them down. I will keep entertaining them through my performances.
