Hrithik Roshan's Kabir returns in YRF spy universe with 'Tiger 3': Reports

In the last decade, the YRF Spy Universe has solidified its position as the most significant franchise in Indian cinema, boasting a remarkable 100 percent blockbuster success rate. This journey began in 2012 when Aditya Chopra ventured into the realm of spy films with "Ek Tha Tiger," featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. 

The franchise continued to soar with its sequel, "Tiger Zinda Hai."  Subsequently, "War" starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, and "Pathaan", with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, further expanded this cinematic universe.

"Pathaan" marked the inception of an interconnected spy universe, as Tiger, the first SPY of the YRF Universe, made a remarkable appearance in this Shah Rukh Khan starrer. The excitement is now building for the fifth film in this universe, "Tiger 3," where Shah Rukh Khan is expected to reprise his role as Pathaan in yet another action-packed adventure. 

According to a report from Pinkvilla, Aditya Chopra has set the wheel in motion for a full convergence of super spies within the YRF Spy Universe. No one knows, but along with Pathaan, Kabir will also be making an appearance in Tiger 3. While the details for the same are being kept tightly under wraps, it's an exciting development that will only be unveiled on the big screen when "Tiger 3" releases on November 12.

In "Tiger 3," Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will reprise their roles as Tiger and Zoya, and they will face a formidable antagonist named Aatish, portrayed by Emraan Hashmi. The third installment of the Tiger series is all set to hit theaters on Sunday, November 12, 2023. 

Following "Tiger 3," the YRF Spy Universe will continue to expand with "War 2," directed by Ayan Mukerji. This film will see the return of Hrithik Roshan in a prominent role as Kabir. The storyline will pit him against the young tiger, NTR Jr., with Kiara Advani as the female lead. The shooting for this epic action film is set to commence soon.
