With the rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Bollywood actors have stepped up on their part which has resulted in banning the Pakistani artists. Similarly, right after it was reported that Salman Khan has got Atif Aslam replaced from his upcoming production Notebook, amidst the rising tensions between the two countries, a new report has surfaced stating that Salman himself will replace Atif to sing the song.
The film Notebook marks the debut of Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbaal. According to a report, the team felt that no one could do justice to the soft romantic track and Salman's name came up during brainstorming. A source has been quoted as saying, "Many singers were considered, but the makers were not fully convinced whether they would be able to do justice to Main Taare, which is a soft romantic number."
The source further revealed that owing to Salman's song Main Hoon Hero, the team thought he'd be a perfect fit. The source said, "During the brainstorming session, Salman's name cropped up as he has previously crooned Main Hoon Hero, another romantic song that had earned much love from listeners. The team thought he would be a good fit."
The report further suggested "it took some convincing" but "Salman has agreed to go behind the mic again." Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film is slated to release on March 29.
On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat co-starring Katrina Kaif, Tabu and Sunil Grover in lead roles. The film will hit the big screens on Eid this year. He will also be seen in Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg 3 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next; which is yet to be titled.
