On March 12, the much-awaited teaser of period drama Kalank was unveiled in the presence of its ensemble cast including, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. The film, directed by Abhishek Varman under Karan Johar's home production Dharma Productions in association with Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson, is being hailed for its grandeur and fans are eagerly waiting to see it on the silver screen.
But guess what? Not only the fans but Alia's ex-boyfriend and actor Sidharth Malhotra is in awe of the teaser as well. After seeing the same, Sid tweeted saying, "Wow superb guys! Looking spectacular," followed by a clapping emoji. To which Alia replied sweetly by saying, "Thank youuu sid!!!!"

In fact, during Koffee with Karan 6, Sid had said that there's nothing bitter between him and Alia at all. "I don't think it is bitter. I think we haven't really met after that, to be honest. It's civil. It has been a while. It happens, it's like any other relationship. I have known her for much longer. I knew her from even before we were dating. So it's not like we met as girlfriend-boyfriend. I think it will remain... It's just a matter of us coming back, whether it is work or whether it is just socialising," he had said.
The two made their Bollywood debuts together in 2012 with KJo's Student of the Year, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
