Here's how John Abraham HELPED Shahid Kapoor by WARNING him

Actors helping each other has been a rare phenomenon in the Bollywood industry but this kind gesture from John Abraham towards Shahid Kapoor makes for an exception. The two have two films in common, nor do they share any great bond, but John still chose to save Shahid from falling into a legal controversy. 

So, both John and Shahid's upcoming films were bankrolled by the same production house KriArj Entertainment which reportedly has been facing financial issues. After opting out from Sara Ali Khan's debut film 'Kedarnath', the production house opted out from other projects too naming Shahid's 'Baati Gul Meter Chalu' and John's 'Parmanu'.

Now, if a report in DNA is to be believed then John Abraham made a friendly call to Shahid warning him about the problems by working with this production house. The report reads, "John, who was then in the midst of his legal battle with KriArj over Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran, told Shahid to be careful about whatever moves he made in lieu of BGMC. Besides talking about their respective films with the then common producer, Shahid appreciated the fact that John called on him".

Isn't this a sweet gesture from John? It surely is!

Talking about Batti Gul Meter Chalu, before KriArj opting out, the film was facing a lot of financial irregularities which reportedly even stalled the shoot mid-schedule in Dehradun. The actors had to return untimely because of this and the film really seemed to be in jeopardy.

After a lot of debacles, Parmanu is slated to release on 25^th May while Batti Gul Meter Chalu will hit the theatres in August.
