Helen elated over grandson's birth

Yesteryear's dancing diva Helen, who is married to actor-scriptwriter Salim Khan, is ecstatic over the birth of her grandson Ahil.

Helen's step daughter Arpita Khan, who is married to Aayush Sharma, gave birth to her first child on Wednesday.

When IANS congratulated Helen at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Summer-Resort 2016, over the introduction of the new member in the family here, the 77-year-old said, "Thank you", with a huge smile on her face.

Helen walked the ramp for the brand AJIO at its "#DoubtIsOut" session of the fashion gala on Saturday.

She was joined on stage by actress Sunny Leone, comedian Bharti Singh and transgender personality Laxmi Narayan, among others.

This is perhaps the first time that a transgender has walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week.

Arpita and Aayush got married in November 2014.
