Diwali is going strong and celebrities have their plans set for the day. The auspicious day is celebrated in several ways and our TV celebrities also had their plans set.
Here we list down the plans of your favorite TV celebs-
I have planned something special this Diwali, which I cannot reveal now. I have purchased secret gifts for my parents and siblings, I will be giving it to them after Laxmi Puja. The funny part is that, they all are aware that they will be getting the gifts, and are trying their best to find what all I had bought. I am now forced to lock all the 'secret gifts' inside the almirah.
A couple of months ago, my brother was blessed with a baby girl and we named her Aayat. We all are feeling exhilarated as this will be her first Diwali and we want to make it a memorable one. My mom has bought a cute small lehenga choli for Aayat, I am eagerly waiting for the Diwali night, so that I can dress her up.
I am from Delhi, and I prefer to celebrate the festival with my family in Dilli 6, but this time around, because of hectic shooting schedule, I won't be able to join my parents. I will be celebrating Diwali with Mrs. Mohan and to make our first Diwali extra special, my in-laws are coming from Nagpur. I will 'shamelessly' cheat the diet and indulge in a lot of calorie-rich foods and sweets(especially Chamcham) after the Laxmi Pooja.
Aaradhna Uppal best known for 'Jaana Na Dil Se Door'
I am a spiritual person and would be meditating on Diwali eve. Meditation enables us to have a deeper understanding of our inner self and doing it on the auspicious occasion of Diwali would add cherry on the cake. In the night, I might go out with my friends for a dinner and a long drive.
Imran Khan best known for 'Beyhadh'
For me, Diwali is all about beautiful lights and close friends and yummy food. This time also, I will hang around with a few of my close friends and indulge in sinfully delicious foods.
Karan Sharma best known for 'Mohi'
This Diwali is a bit special for me as I will be tying the knot after it. I will be celebrating the festival with my would-be-wife Tiaara in Mumbai. But I am not sure, I might go to my hometown Dehradun as I need to finish lots of work, which includes planning, organizing, and doing remaining shopping for marriage.
Harssh Rajput best known for 'Saaath Nibhana Saathiya'
We'll have our usual pooja at home. After the Pooja, I will catch up with my friends. We Gujaratis are known for exceptional quest for food. I always look forward to Diwali, so that I can forget my diet and get a chance to gorge on yummy food my mom makes. I love to have Chorafali with a Mint chutney, its a popular Gujarati festival snack and is perfect for munching post Laxmi pooja.
Gulshan Nain best known for 'Friends Conditions Apply'
Usually, I celebrate Diwali with my parents in Delhi, but this time I will enjoy the festival with my friends in Mumbai. I am a health conscious and it's the only time I forget about my diet and indulge in as many sweets as possible.
My best Diwali would be spending it at my grandparents' house and that is surely the fondest memory I have. I had friends in that apartment and we used to get down to burst crackers and have a lot fun. It is also a great memory for me as those were the times of innocence. And ironically, now I am really scared of crackers. These days, I attend Diwali parties but I hoped I could re-live those moments again.
