Happy Birthday Arjun Rampal!

Born on 26th November 1972, Rampal was born to Amarjeet Rampal and Gwen Rampal in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his early schooling at St. Patrick School in Deolali, Maharashtra along with his sister, where his mother was a teacher. Rampal married Mehr Jesia, former Miss India and a supermodel. They are blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, Mahikaa and Myra.

Rampal made his acting debut with Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001), which although was not a big hit, it earned Rampal much needed critical acclaim for his performance. He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and won the same in the Star Screen Awards and IIFA Awards. He further went on to star in various movies that were on the most part not too appreciated at the Box Office or by critics although on the personal front, Rampal got his well share of appreciation. In 2006, Rampal got his breakthrough with Don - The Chase Begins Again. At this time he also established his own production company along with his wife, Mehr Jesia, named Chasing Ganesha Films. 2007 saw him starring in Om Shanti Om in his first negative role for which he won the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role and was nominated for the same at the IIFA Awards, Star Screen Awards, and Apsara Awards. Rampal then went on to star as a vital supporting role character in numerious hit movies including Rock On (2008), Housefull (2010), and Raajneeti (2010).

He currently has debutante director Vikramjit Singh's Roy alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandes, which is scheduled for release in 2015.
