Hands down, 2019 has been a year of the amazing LOB aka the long bob haircut. As we are nearing the end of 2019 it is safe to say that this style of hair is everywhere! From our darling Deepika just recently lobbing off her long locks to Priyanka who has committed to this hair cut from a while now. LOB is officially the cut of the year. Here’s looking at why and how this lovely LOB has made it into our favourite actress’ hair story….
As we mentioned earlier, Deepika Padukone is the most recent one to chop her hair into a cute LOB. DP who has been busy with promotions of her upcoming film Chhapak, debuted her new cut on her social media handle. This left us all guessing if it happened for real. Officially she took her new hair look for a spin with an Alex Perry black gown.
Anushka Sharma’s journey to a LOB has been rather slow and since 2018 but it is now in 2019 that we got a real feel for it. Courtesy this lovely picture that the actress shared on her social media. A centre parted, perfectly blow dried shoulder grazing LOB.
Kareena Kapoor has been slaying every look of hers, courtesy her LOB and eternal oomph. Bebo has always had her hair shoulder length or little longer than that went for a legit LOB just recently. Her fanpage even shared a small clip of Bebo getting her hair chopped by her trusted hairstylist. Hair goals!
Here we have the queen of LOBs. Priyanka Chopra sporting a side parted wavy shortcut is nothing new. We on style desk totally credit PeeCee for bringing this wave of long bob cut in Bollywood and among us.
Yami Gautam who is loved for her flawless skin is also adored by us for her LOB which was once a classic bob. Yami went really short with her hair in 2018, now in 2019 sports a LOB.
